Background:
Weston Turville Church of England School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. The school was opened in 1839 as a Church of England Controlled Primary School and moved to its present site in 1970. There has recently been a major refurbishment of the exterior of the buildings. It has attractive grounds that include four playgrounds, sports field and four-acre nature reserve. The school provides a broad and balanced education relevant to each child's needs. All clubs are open to boys and girls and are usually open to older children during lunchtime or after-school. Younger children are often too tired after a day in school to benefit. The school aims to provide a caring environment.
