Background:
The Radcliffe School is a mixed age 12-18 foundation school. Students' learning is enriched by extra opportunities. These include visits to art galleries, trips to Germany, France and Italy and field trips. Facilities such as the sixth form computer rooms, the common room, the higher education and careers room and library provide places where students can manage their independent study time. All students enjoy a wide range of sporting and physical education opportunities. Many students have been selected for county level squads in a range of sports including rugby, badminton, cross-country, cricket, netball, soccer and basketball. Each year a number of students take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. The school aims to challenge and inspire everyone in the school to learn. Its values are summarised by four key words that are learning, success, individual and community.
