Background:

Built in 1965; bright stimulating environment, including courtyard, garden, pond and wildlife area. Wide range of out-of-school activities; every morning (from 8am to 9am), lunchtime and evening is taken up by clubs, such as chess, watersports, cheerleaders. Winners of Catholic inter-school sports for fifth time in summer 2006; best school garden in Milton Keynes for second time. Strong links with local community; sponsored run helped to raise £16,000 for Missionaries of the Poor to build classrooms in the Philippines. Over-subscribed; to accommodate demand additional places, we have provided additional classrooms to allow two forms in some year-groups. Before-school care, from 7.30am; after-school care, until 6pm. Artsmark Gold (2005); Basic Skills Quality Mark (2003, 2006); DfES achievement award (2001). Ethos: 'We believe every child is special and precious. We strive to meet the needs of each individual child by providing an extensive range of activities and a broad curriculum so that each child can identify their strengths and applaud one another's talents.
