Background:
Brooksward Middle School opened in 1978 in 'spacious and attractive' grounds with an 'extensive' playing field. Facilties also include an ICT suite, music room, and a hall. The building is divided into two, with four classrooms and an art and craft area in each. The Friends of Brooksward an association of parents, teachers and friends, organises fundraising events each term with summer and Christmas fairs, quiz nights, discos and fashion shows.
