Background:

The Gerrards Cross Church of England School was completed in 1968 and is set in eight acres of grounds, including three playgrounds and two playing fields. There is a main building houses and school offices, main hall, five classrooms and ICT suite, heated outdoor swimming pool used in summer, and changing rooms. The second building has central library, five classrooms, cookery room, small tutorial room, and changing rooms and temporary classroom used as music room. The school is over-subscribed, with two applications per place. It provides wide variety of extra-curricular activities, including sports and fitness training, and musical activities. It has flourish parent-teacher association registered as charity and provides social and fundraising activities. It has close links with St James' Church and welcomes all denominations and nationalities and multi-faith religious education. It provide associated after-school club at local memorial centre. The school has achieved DfES achievement award (2000, 2001, 2002). The school pursue the high standards within the framework of Christian values, celebrating the uniqueness and inherent value of each individual.
