Background:
The school is at the heart of a village community close to the town centre of Aylesbury. In November 1998, the school celebrated its centenary. A 'strong Christian ethos' pervades within the school, a result of the Church of England voluntary control. Quainton school is home to an extensive playing field, large playgrounds and an orchard area which is used to support scientific and creature study. There are also many after school activities available including netball, football, recorders, science and craft clubs, and these form an important part of village life.
