Background:
Opened in April 1991, Winslow Combined School is a single storey building with a purpose-built nursery classroom. It is situated in a small town, midway between Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. In addition to core subjects, Winslow offers French and German at Key Stage two. The school has moderate to good success in sports, with regular inter school matches. The national curriculum core subjects are mathematics, English, science and national curriculum foundation subjects are information and communication technology, design technology, geography, history, physical education, music and art. The school aims to encourage them to work hard and to aim for the highest possible standards of achievement.
