Background:
Finmere Church of England Primary School was built in 1959 and extended in 1973. The school grounds include a wild life area and pond. The school'serves the children of Finmere and the neighbouring villages of Mixbury, Cottisford, Juniper hill, Newton Morrell, with a small intake from Bizester. Extra-curricular activities include table tennis, football, rounders, arts and crafts, recorder and guitar. The school is part of the Oxfordshire Forest School Project and takes the children out to a local forest area on a weekly basis.
